Susana was co-owner of Toronto's salsa nightclub La Classique and over the years she has ceaselessly promoted Latin dance in the cities where she's resided, organizing and promoting social dance venues, giving media interviews, and organizing workshops and performances for world renown tango dancers.
Between teaching sessions Susana makes regular trips to Buenos Aires to continue her study of tango. With over 20 years of dancing and a long list of
mentors and instructors
(see My Teachers>>
), Susana has developed a system of teaching which is clear, concise and the most direct path she knows
to getting students on the dance floor, experiencing the joy of dance.
Despite a vast and colourful career thus far, for Susana, the thrill of introducing a group of
starters to Tango dance, seeing their expressions as they discover that indeed, they too can
tango, continues to hold the greatest joy and immense gratification.
